I'm at a great place in my life and have a lot of things for which I am very grateful. But, I am also at a place where I realize it would be nice to have someone special in my life. I thought I'd give it a try. My friends would describe me as kind, smart, compassionate, dedicated, and loyal with a flair for the literary. I find myself very passionate about the people and things I really care about.I like to hike, take long walks, travel to places where I can enjoy all four seasons, and I enjoy home improvement and decorating. I like going to flea markets and most things vintage. I have a great appreciation for the history found in old architecture. I seek the Beauty in life and it is usually found in the simple things. Although I use a computer daily, I'm what some might call "technologically challenged," but I admire those who aren't. I still cherish the comfort and feel of a good paperback novel where I actually have to turn the pages. I am always up for a new adventure! I love to explore new places , listen to music, and meet friends for a good glass of wine. I'm as comfortable in a pair of converse and Levi's as I am in boots and a jeans. (ok, maybe a bit more comfortable in the tennies!) But, I appreciate the efforts for glamour as well! I can have just as much fun painting a house with the right person as I can at the Theater! I love to do both! I am as content watching a good movie at home as I am out on the town. I hope to find someone who enjoys that balance as well.
I would like to meet someone who is kind, funny, helpful and shares common interests and values. A woman who is confident and content in who she is and what she does for a living, but has the desire to share her life and affection with the right man is the woman for me. I'd like to spend time with someone who can take life's ups and downs, who is calm when needed and passionate when warranted, and whose perspective leans toward the positive. I do not really have a "type" - what I am looking for is that inexplicable connection that would allow us to have great conversations and laughter, support of each other, and a strong desire to seek out adventures together either at home or elsewhere.
