So, I've done this once before. eHarmony last Spring. I remember the hours I spent pouring out my deepest passions and desires online.
This time around, I know you can tell who I am and what time spent together would be like from viewing my photos and reading what I'll write below.
I grew up on the Outer Banks of North Carolina in a home filled with love and laughter. I strive to spend each of my days the same way, and am looking forward to creating such a home with the right man in the future. (Hopefully, in the next five years. We're all on Match for a reason! :)
I strive to truly enjoy each day. I love laughing with and encouraging others. This is not hard to do since I'm an elementary art teacher. No matter how chaotic the art room may get, you have to smile when watching kids express themselves. After school, I mentor with a running program, helping others reach their goals. I'd love to meet someone who would want to meet up for a run, or a hike, or at the gym after work. It's important to manage the stress of the work week, and stay healthy together.
There is so much to explore in the triangle on the weekends: hiking, lakes, live music, rock climbing, kayaking, sailing, short weekend trips to the mountains or the coast, gorgeous dinners with music on the stereo at home. I do this with the friends I've made here thus far, but would love to share these great experiences and relax with a man whose right for me (and vice versa!)
As I mentioned earlier, I have a wonderful, loving, supportive family that I am excited to introduce a potential partner too. My folks still live on the Outer Banks, and I love getting together with my two sisters and their boyfriends/spouses whenever we get the chance. A potential partner would need to also place importance on family.
