I find it very difficult to describe myself in writing without sounding pretentious, even though writing that in of itself may be me being pretentious. Make sense? I'll take some words from a few of my friends when they described me. One said that I'm pretty reserved, but when I speak it is either really smart or really funny or both. I spend a lot of time debating on whether I'm really this hilariously witty or I just hang out with complete idiots. Probably a little of both. I would hope people that know me would describe myself as observant, charming and confident but not cocky. A creative genius with rock hard abs.........wow went off the rails for minute. Sorry. I would consider sincerity to be one of my best attributes. My worst attribute may be spelling, as I just had to spell check sincerity.
I have spent some time traveling over the past few years. While this has made for a lot of interesting experiences,(see pictures) it has also made it difficult to meet anyone. So as strange as online dating is to me......
I like delving into the history of music, film, sports, art..... I will listen to just about any genre of music. I listened to The Black Keys, Beethoven, Gnarls Barkley, the White Stripes, Dick Dale, Chili Peppers, Blind Willie McTell, Fiona Apple, Biggy and the Rolling Stones on a drive the day I'm writing this. I've played guitar since high school and have been known to make impulse buys of musical instruments I have no idea of how to play. If you know of anyone looking for a full sized 88 key digital piano, or selling a mandolin please let me know. I think similar interests or tastes are always a good thing, but are definitely open to someone broadening my horizons. I really try and stay active and am always looking to take steps to being healthier.
I'm looking for someone who can appreciate life for what it is. Can take asinine jokes and theories in stride and dish them right back.
If I messaged you, even if you think I'm a (fill in whatever), feel flattered, because I don't really canvas this whole scene. It's rare. You stuck out for some reason. Not only did you catch my eye but you probably said something funny or poignant that I liked.
