I much prefer a well written email to a wink... The winks kind of creep me out.
Ok.. here it goes....I'm a transplant (no way, you too?!) who has realized that guys here like to be outside...a lot... Not that I don't like the out of doors, but week long hike/camp trips aren't exactly my style. At least I don't think. I could give it a go once and see, but let's just say it's not my normal thing. I recently saw the Grand Canyon and now want to hike down. I moved here for school and am a big fan of Denver. The weather is amazing and I will admit some parts of it have really grown on me (I've taken up running.).
I am most comfortable in jeans and flats, but own a closet full of dresses for a reason. I'll use my feminine powers to have you get me some water when I'm already in bed, but I can probably install a light fixture faster than you. I've been in school most of my life, but I was also an adult once and owned my own home. I have an amazingly supportive family but make decisions on my own. I guess I'm trying to say I'm well rounded, whatever that means.
I like these things:
Animals (so I don't eat them)
Old records (yes, the things that spin around)
Warm covers
Playing games (game nights are some of the best)
Sunshine! (So Denver is a good fit)
NPR (Morning Edition and All Things Considered most days, podcasts often)
Mixed drinks (not a lot, or all the time, but I have yet to taste a beer or wine I desire a second taste of)
Jeopardy! (Or trivia in general, I'm in a league)
and other things I am certain...
I would like to say I like all people and everyone should message me because who knows, right? But really, I am looking for something that has potential and I'm at a point in my life where I don't want to waste your time as much as I don't want to waste mine. Nothing against anyone, I just have a good idea what works for me and what doesn't. What does: a boy playing records for me, intelligence, trivia nights, someone who knows where they are going in life (or is already there), a mutual love of cheese and dessert.
