However, first a disclaimer: apologies if my profile is less grandiose than others, but there's no deception here: what you read is what you get. (That's just how I roll -- and what I seek.)
I have been accused of being a perfectionist, but I am merely a particular sort who believes anything worth one's time is worth one's all. I am conscientious, tenacious, unfailingly disciplined, and firmly believe that no challenge is too great given enough care, time, and effort. Unlike most engineers, I enjoy writing, can speak passionately to crowded rooms, have reasoned thoughts on more than just MHz, and have a deep appreciation for aesthetics, minimalism, and order (yes, I am a neat freak -- but if you're not, that's totally okay). I eat with care, run at least 5 miles a day, exercise religiously, and generally strive to treat my body well. I am forever humbled and awed by the world around me -- and consequently driven to constantly improve. Above all, I am deeply principled, honest even when it works against me, and pride myself on my integrity. While of that likely makes me sound all business and no fun, in truth I totally revel in the absurdities that permeate everyday life.
As for what I seek in a match, there are only a handful of non-negotiables: integrity, intellect, kindness, open-mindedness, and a resolute moral compass. Of course, mutual physical attraction is also key -- as is a willingness to offer long-term commitment in the fullness of time. Going further, my ideal match would be confident yet humble, independent but considerate, creative yet pragmatic, driven but patient, and precise without being pedantic. Speaking of precise: call me wildly old-fashioned and a wee bit mad, but few things are sexier than an expressive woman with impeccable spelling, punctuation, and grammar :-)
Hmm -- that doesn't begin to cover it, yet this has already become a screed.
I'd be happy to share more -- just drop me a line.
P.S. I can't bring myself to "wink" or send scattershot "nice profile" emails, so if a message from me landed in your inbox, it means I truly felt that we'd spark.
P.P.S. I've been told my profile is "intimidating". I don't bite, so please don't be shy :-)
