I moved back to Huntington Beach after two awesome years in Long Beach. I love exploring the local scenes of Orange County, Los Angeles, and the rest of California (barely scratched the surface so far). Care to join me?
I'm an Ohio transplant who moved out here over 8 years ago. I grew up on a farm and people seem to enjoy the tales of what it was like growing up. I'm self-deprecating and I definitely don't take myself too serious. And to answer your question, I shave my head by choice not by genetics!
2013 is the year of continued improvement. I completed several mud runs including a zombie run in 2012 and continuing with one in April. I have my skydiving package ready and just need to pick a weekend! I'll do more hiking/exploring, learn an instrument, get my nephew and newborn niece back in Ohio to like me (so frustrating!), and improve the wardrobe. I was on a HB kickball team this fall. It was a blast! I'm also seeing more shows/concerts and most recently saw the Book of Mormon. It's definitely a show to see!
I took my first "international" vacations in 2011 to Puerto Vallerta and Australia and now I have the travel bug that everyone else has! I went to Akumal, Mexico in August and it was cool to see the Mayan ruins. I just returned from a snowboard trip to Mammoth in December and it was fantastic. I went to a bachelor party in Puerto Rico in January and it was fantastic! Additional 2013 recommendations welcome!
Another 2013 goal is expanding my cooking skills beyond microwaving Lean Cuisines, Hamburger Helper and Foreman grilling. It's been fun and I've learned several excellent recipes. I'm struggling a bit to use a broiling pan correctly. I've got several cook books to help, some even have pictures!
My long term goal is to finally check out Disneyland/Sea World and Raging Waters (Wyld Stallyns!). Over 8 years and I still haven't been!! At this point it's a badge of (dis)honor...
I'm looking for a woman to explore So Cal, travel the states/overseas and hang out with. Oh and someone with style to help improve mine (my t-shirts and jeans are nice but help with casual jacket selections would be nice) is a bonus!
