A little about me. After getting out of a relationship about three years ago, I decided that I wanted to take some time and really focus on me. Who I was, where I wanted to go, what I wanted to do... That kind of thing. Since then I have found an incredible job that I love very much, bought a beautiful house, made some great friends, and really achieved everything that I had set out to do as a single guy. Lately though I have found myself really beginning to miss the companionship, comfort, and connection associated with a relationship so I decided to give this a try. I have created a pretty good life for myself and would like to start to share that with somebody.
I am a very laid back guy all around, but I definitely have a drive and passion for life that is higher than average. I am extremely active, physically fit, career driven, competitive, and goal orientated. I love experiencing new things, meeting new people, and learning new interesting facts about anything and everything. I usually work out six days a week or so, tend to eat pretty healthy, and really would love to find somebody who's idea of a "lazy Sunday" is to get outside and go for a nice long walk in the wildlife preserve my house sits on. Maybe we could have a picnic too?
My family means everything to me. I am the oldest of five kids and while my parents both live two hours away, all of my siblings followed me down here, so I have recently earned the nickname "Columbus Dad". I do everything I can to make sure I am there for them whenever they need me. Whether that is a brother needing help with a test for school or helping baby sister fix her car when it makes a funny noise. It means a lot that they all know they can turn to me when they need something.
I guess the last thing I could say is that I grew up in the middle of the country on a dairy farm and definitely still have a little bit of country boy flare left in me. I drive a truck, like to hike, camp, hunt and fish. And have relatively traditional views when it comes to dating and things like that. You won't ever have to worry about opening a door on a date, haha.
