Raised to be hard working, honest and loyal, I am originally from Iowa and the outlier in my small, traditional Midwest family, the only one to take the leap and leave the state. My family owns a small residential construction company so I grew up with manual labor and learned the value of hard work and dedication at a very young age (I was hammering nails on a roof at the age of 8!) I chose to pursue a finance career instead and moved to California for my career. But its great to have the construction background as I can basically build or fix anything involving a house or a car!
I am definitely enjoying the adventure of California life. And while I am slightly skeptical about online dating, I figured that at the very least it is a great way to meet new friends. If it leads to something more, fantastic!
Friends know me as a confident but humble guy. I was born with a healthy sense of adventure and I am driven to continue to grow as a person and experience all the world has to offer. I try to bring passion and energy to everything that I do. I have spent the past few years focused on my education and career. Now I'm ready to focus more on enjoying life, hopefully with a significant other!
When I'm not working I tend to be pretty laid back and I can have fun doing just about anything whether I'm tailgating with friends, watching a movie at home or staying active outside (I love the outdoors and enjoy staying active and in shape).
