I have just moved to Buffalo in November to accept a fantastic job where I can finally utilize my education and previous work experiences doing something that I love. I moved here from Georgia, but I've got my penguin-walk down for getting across icy parking lots, I randomly insert the word "the" infront of highway numbers (seriously, whats with that WNY?), and I wake up and see that it's 25 out and think it's warm... so I'd say my assimilation to Buffalo is about complete!
I get to stay upbeat and positive, as well as active and involved, at work. Therefore, some days I'm just really tired when I get home. I still get a good meal in (learning how to cook! my best and favorite dish so far is sesame chicken over quinoa grain with mixed veggies) and more often than not a workout, which always raises my spirits. I'm in the process of building a home gym to compliment my past training in MMA, but I also workout at a commercial gym when I just need some weights and an environment with other people getting in shape. The sauna is pretty sweet too... except all the old naked guys just hanging out. I can't wait to adopt a dog. I miss my family dog so much, she stays with my parents. I want a big dog, not that I have anything against little dogs, but I just prefer larger ones.
Most profiles are pretty vanilla on here in that it seems everyone likes to go out, but likes to stay in too. I'm no different, but I'll tell you that more often than not I'll stay in for the night, read a book, or play video games once a week with friends and family from around the nation. I make time to read everyday, even if just 10-15 minutes before bed.
Anyway, I'm just a normal guy with extraordinary heart and character. I'm also pretty old-fashioned in that I believe in old-timey values like respect towards women, holding open doors, and -oh yeah- monogamy. Loyalty is a big thing with me, you will always have my loyalty and trust. There is no connection if there is no trust. I'm not saying we'd do trust falls on our first date, but you get the picture? Just be upfront and honest. I am. Life's easier that way.
In a potential girlfriend/more, it is immensely important to love animals. You must also care about your health. Smoking is a dealbreaker for me. I'd love it if you wanted to work out together. Being positive is a must, as is a desire to travel and learn about this wonderful diverse world we live in. I also think a girl that reads is pretty attractive :)
I think that's a good place to end it, or else what is left to talk about on a first date/interview?!
Don't hesitate to send me a message if you think we'd click! I look forward to hearing from you.
