I love life and everything about it, the good, the bad and the in between. I sometimes still desperately miss my dog Greta, who I had for 13 years and who passed away last year. I'm a journalist by day and teach yoga at night. So it would be great to date someone who does yoga or is at least open to it. I love to travel, if you can tell by the photos. I'm ambitious, and aggressive at work, but balanced in life (I think/hope). I don't have a lot of spare time. So I try to make the time I do have count with the people that matter most to me. I am equally comfortable in a gown at the White House Correspondents Dinner or playing pool at a dive bar, or just in my own skin. I generally prefer to meet men the old fashioned way, drunk and in a bar (kidding, of course). But I so rarely go out any more that this seems like a good alternative, although it's a bit more time consuming. I'm tough at work but apparently a pushover with my nieces and nephews.
You will be funny, (or at least entertaining), physically active, ambitious and successful at whatever it is you do, while not taking yourself too seriously. Your confidence will come from within, not from what you have or have achieved. You will not have a soft, potato-sack like belly. You will love or at least pretend to love my mom, my 92-year-old grandmother and my niece in Brooklyn, who crashes at my place from time to time. I do not expect you to like my cats, but you would never think about asking me to give them up for you. You will be generous, kind to puppies and old people. You will not make fun of me (too much) when I scream at scary movies or cry at bad dramas. And, probably most importantly, you will make me feel like I am the hottest woman, or at least ranking in the top 5, you've ever dated in your life. And I will do the same for you.
I would like to thank you in advance for not winking at me if you've posted photos of yourself shirtless in front on a mirror.
