The simple things in life are what I enjoy. I love discovery and exploration, but am also a tad laid-back.
It all boils down to a sense of inquisitiveness... Traveling to learn how other people lead their lives, trying new restaurants or cuisines, going to an art museum, checking out new music, watching good films, are all some of my favourite things, and define who I am. I've seen my fair share of the world (ask me where!) while working for an airline back home in SE Asia, and having studied in London and Boston.
I'm looking for good company to make my experiences in Seattle more memorable. While I'm back in grad school at UW now, I would still love to squeeze quick getaways in, and explore the city. Maybe weekend sojourns into the outdoors?
I think I've learnt just as much being a keen observer of the world around me as living through what life has thrown at me. Maybe that's why I love Statistics: making inferences based on observed events from an unknown underlying phenomenon. So take your time to differentiate me: I don't have a big personality but I can get pretty passionate if we integrate well!
