I am a happy, relaxed person and I deeply enjoy my life. I have a great job, good friends, and a wonderful family. It's been a while since I met anyone new and single that I had chemistry with though, so I thought I would give the online dating world a try.
I am the kind of person who believes that if there is a problem with the world that you are unable to live with, then you should try and fix it. That is why I do research in education. I believe that kids naturally have a passion to build a better world, but our schools do not teach them the skills needed to translate those dreams into reality. So I spend a lot of time trying to figure out how to “fill in the gaps” in the education system, and then testing out my ideas with real teachers and students. Nothing is more rewarding than hearing a child say “oh, maybe I really can make a difference.” Since I do what I love for a living, I tend to pretty positive and optimistic.
I would love to meet someone healthy and happy and who enjoys exploring new things. I am attracted to people who are kind, passionate, who can say what they mean, and who can laugh at themselves and the world. I love people who are low on drama and enjoy a bit of romance and a deep conversation. I don’t like having too many expectations before I meet someone though, the best relationships evolve organically over time.
A great first date could include lunch and engaging conversation, although I am more than happy to go out and have some fun in the evening as well.
