I have 2 beautiful daughters (18 and 21) who are my life but both are starting lives of their own now. I'm a widower who spent many years never thinking he would ever be looking for companionship but here I am.
I had 28 wonderful years of love, life, laughter and to be honest a few knock down drag out arguments with a fantastic girl who I will always love. I lost her to heaven and now am looking to move on. Not replace her, just go to the next phase of my life...hopefully with someone else to share my life.
I love to fish and hunt. I enjoy woodworking, crafts, home modeling and repair, playing pool, swimming, cards, and intelligent conversations. I love riding quads but hate it when people rip up nature for no reason. We have a camp in the Allegheny National Forest and I am most at peace there. Fresh air, campfires, crystal clear night skys, friends, family, the sounds of nature a good dog and a loving companion for company....heaven.......
I love to shoot -- rifles, bows, shotguns, pistols, even looking into a crossbow this year. Woodscraft is a favored hobby. I used to teach it to the girls in my daughters Girl Scout troops. Yea, I'm the token dad wearing the pink T shirt at camp with all the moms and girls.....and I loved it! Can't beat it. I taught hunter safety for a few years. I still hold a Second Degree Black Belt In Taekwondo but earned it a few pounds and a few years ago. I am not into the booze n bar scene. I'm not a prude or kill-joy...I like a fun time too but my family and my girls are where I get my highs from. Not a bottle or drugs.
What am I looking for is someone to share some time with, someone to share some experiences with and maybe if the stars are lined up right, someone to share the rest of this life with. I want to find someone who shares at least some of my interests and will participate and share with me their time and life. I want someone who will be a partner in every sense of the word and I will try to be the same in things they may like and do as well..
No one on this sight is background free... We all have a past whether good or not so good... We are not teenagers looking for a first kiss or a hug from the opposite sex.
We all carry some baggage of life. Some baggage can be left behind , other, not so easily if at all... All we can truly do is live today and hope for tomorrow... I think it brings more hope and can lighten the baggage from yesterday if the weights are shared between two people who love each other...
Too many people on these sights are looking desperately for a soul mate, and life partner in the first 5 minutes of meeting......it don't happen that way....true love and relationships take a long time and a lot of compromise to create.
