I’m looking for a fun, energetic and active woman. You have a balance of independence and spending quality time together. I really enjoy conversations where I learn something or share in someone’s passions in life. You have a good heart, and are loving, affectionate and kind to others. Attributes like intelligence, goal-directed and someone who strives to build a better life are very desirable. About me, I’m about 1/3 excellent athlete, 1/3 goal-driven career guy and 1/3 you only live once so enjoy each day. I played a variety of high school sports and then volleyball for U of Illinois. Aging isn’t fun as I loved high level competition. Career-wise, I’m done a number of entrepreneurial projects and have worked in IT consulting, mostly for smaller start-ups. I’ve recently completed my master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology. It was an amazing program that supported me in moving towards a healthier more meaningful life. It has also improved my relationship at all levels. Today, I am considering a new entrepreneurial project or taking on more corporate consulting work.
Now that I’m here in CA, I recently started coaching junior volleyball for a competitive club. I was a good player and anxious to see where this will take me and see if I can coach well. I look forward to this and playing on the beach this summer.
Relationships: I certainly appreciate beauty on the outside (who doesn’t), but am also looking for someone with inner beauty. I’ve been told that I’m unique (in a good way) and a lot more than what appears on the surface. I think it’s because I don’t really boast. In fact, this entire section is awkward because I'm supposed to talk about me and that is something I don't really do a lot.
Socially, I’m still meeting people here in CA. I enjoy going out for a drink here and there but prefer to spend my time busy doing stuff. I find it a better way to meet like-minded people.
Me: Loyal, fun, supportive, youthful, affectionate, mature, trustworthy, very funny, honest, positive, aware of others, empathetic, free-thinker. I think of my partner as my teammate… wanting both of us to succeed together.
Not Me: Materialistic, loud annoyingly obnoxious guy, judgmental, closed-minded, selfish, do-what-everybody-else-is-doing.
Political: pro-choice, pro-gay marriage, pro-gun safety.
