I moved to Arlington in December 2009. I'm looking for somebody to explore the NoVA area and DC. I am up for whatever: music festivals in DC, outdoor movie nights in the summer, hiking, biking, food and drinks at a nice little outdoor patio, going to baseball games, checking out a DC United game, exploring hidden gems in the city, etc... To me, I think that it is all about who you are with rather than what you are actually doing.
I believe strongly in only surrounding yourself with those people you view to be extremely honest and trustworthy. Having been on my own since I was 17 (joined the Army out of high school), I can do without all of the excess drama that people sometimes tend to surround themselves with. Ambition is very important to me: If you know what you want in life, do whatever it takes to figure out how to get it. With that being said, we all have our moments where we need to just relax a little bit and recharge the batteries. Don't get me wrong, I like to goof around as much as the next person. I love to watch sports, especially football.
I have been told that I am a very personable individual. Growing up in a military family and spending about 9 years in the Army myself, I believe that traveling is very important. I have been to Australia, Hawaii, several countries in Europe, and would love to see some more awesome places as well. Because of these things, I can interact with anybody.
-What I am looking for: Someone that wants to have fun, get to know one another better, and is open to the idea of something that might lead a relationship.
-Must not be opposed to having as much fun and laughing as possible!! Life is serious enough.
