I was raised on the east coast, and have lived in California since 1997. In 2005, I became a group fitness instructor as a hobby. Fitness is a huge part of my life. I love connecting with my members, feeding off of their energy in class, and hearing their fitness success stories, and how my classes may have helped in their journey. I also work for a wonderful company during the day in healthcare technology. I am very involved with my kids (they are both 12) and hope to find someone who has the same sense of family values. You don't need to have kids yourself, but understand that mine are very important to me. My parents weren't very involved with my upbringing, so I made a promise to myself to be involved with my children and provide them the guidance I never had. It's all good though.....I turned out okay! I do have joint custody, so I have plenty of time for the right man. As far as dating - I only date one man at a time. If you are the right man....one is enough. I try to be low-maintenance in a relationship and like to keep things fun.....dinner, breakfast, weekend trips to Tahoe, or whatever you are up for is fine with me. Even running errands is fun with the right guy. It's the company that makes it all fun. I don't require expensive dinners every weekend, and prefer quality over quantity. I'd be just as happy cooking dinner at home over a fancy dinner out (in fact I prefer it) as I tend to be a home-body. I am looking for a guy who stays active, is fit emotionally and physically, and knows what he wants (translated: your heart isn't somewhere else). Financial security is also a plus. I am not materialistic, but I try to be responsible with my money and I hope you are too. I like confident, but not arrogant men. You should be an animal lover, as I am one myself. I adore men with a great sense of humor, so if you can make me laugh, then I bet we will get along great. I tend to gravitate towards men who are kind-hearted and compassionate. Unlike some people, I don't see kindness as a sign of weakness, but rather strength. It shows that although life has thrown you some curve balls, you are strong enough to not let that harden you. We don't always choose what happens to us in life, but what we do choose is how we react. Lastly, while looks count up to a point, it's personality that really makes a person shine. If this catches your attention don't hesitate to drop me a note. Wendy
