Hi. What describes me most is that I'm a down-to-earth guy. I like to explore different aspects of life, activities, countries, cultures, arts, music and generally, like I'm sure most people here on Match.com, look to making some type of meaningful connection. I think we all strive for something like this in our lives, and seek out challenge and uncertainty with every endeavor, realizing that it will usually unfold into a new chapter of our lives. That is what drives me to pursue whatever it is that carries my focus, be it work, a new project/hobby or learning to understand others and in some way somehow contribute to this world.
Like I mentioned above, I enjoy doing all types of activities, not only for the reasons mentioned before but also because oftentimes my mind feels more refreshed when I am able to exercise my body and vice-versa. Either way, keeping active, mentally or physically, is a vital part of my life. I like to keep fit and am always up for trying an activity that I haven't tried before. I also like to travel since it's always eye-opening when you're able to leave the US for any period of time, experience another culture, then return to American culture. Talk about reverse culture shock. I can only imagine what new immigrants think. What I would really like to do though is learn to sail since it's always been something I've wanted to do.
While it really is a lot of fun to plan and do things with my single friends ( and thankfully I still have single friends), I've also realized by hanging out with my married friends that it would be such a better experience to share these activities with someone special as well and explore what this world has to offer together.
