It's definitely hard to sum up my life so far into a short essay but here goes....
I am an ambitious college student who loves to learn from my life experiences as well as from other people. I just recently moved to California from Long Island, NY and since then I have fallen in love with Southern Cali.
I am a Biology major who aspires to be a doctor or physician's assistant in the near future. I love to help people so being altruistic has always been in my nature. I never expect anything in return from anyone. I recognize my privileges and adhere to being selfless throughout my life. My dream is to work with Doctors Without Borders where I can go to destitute areas of the world that are in a constant struggle for survival and do my part to make someone's life just a little better.
So yes, I LOVE to travel. I've been to every country that borders the Mediterranean Sea and enjoyed every second of it. It made me realize how big our world is, yet, how similar we all can be. It was an amazing time in my life and I can't wait to find someone who could share further experiences with me.
Other traits that are more easily definable are that I am pretty outgoing and love to talk. But I don't neglect the importance of listening which is key in relationships. I am a good communicator and i will always respect your feelings. No one's feelings are more important than the others.
I love being physically active. I have played sports all of my life, especially baseball and tennis. Since my college baseball career has ended, I have taken up running and just recently ran my 4th marathon. When I have time to myself, you can catch me at the beach or hiking trails to escape the hussle and bussle of everyday life.
Reading is second nature to me. I read A LOT and very rarely turn the tv on (unless it's Sunday night and Dexter is on!). I read mostly non-fiction because I love to learn. I can honestly say I have learned more by reading on my own time than I have in the 4 years of college I have completed. It's amazing to me the knowledge you receive from opening a book.
Well with that said, I don't really have an "ideal" match. I think everyone is different in their own unique and exciting ways. Everyone has something to offer and giving someone a chance, no matter how opposite they appear to be, is in my opinion, always worth the risk.
