My friends describe me as an Earth goddess who has a love for life. I enjoy natural and simple ways of living, from baking bread to gardening. I also enjoy a night on the town, with dancing and wonderful food. I believe that all good relationships begin with a strong foundation which starts with friendship.
I am not interested in materialistic, yet am interested in someone who can take care of himself in all avenues of his life: professionally, financially, emotionally, and spiritually. Someone who is not afraid to climb a 14er, enjoy a last minute concert, an occasional glass of wine, good conversation, and a quiet hike.
I am have traveled to Japan, lived under the eaves of a coconut grove in the Caribbean, swimming with the power of the ocean daily. I have hunted, skinned, and fished...been caught under barbed wire with scars to prove it.
I have had the wonderful and blessed opportunity to be on stage with some of best artists of the world..onstage in some of the most beautiful venues too.
I have a beautiful son with a condition that is not physically seen. This has opened my heart to all individuals with both seen and unseen disabilities. Furthermore, it has made me understand how privileged I am.
I believe in the power of strong communities and am an active member of a local group that helps bring back the power of cultural roots, positivity, and the importance of spiritual significance in order to help heal our communities.
I love all kinds of music, a huge sucker for live music and Salsa dancing. I love trying new things in life from cuisine to foreign languages.
COMMUNICATION is key to who I am. I am not interested in pretending, reading minds, and communicating in round-about ways. If you are interested in getting to know me, you must be willing to ask, listen, and of course, share. Sometimes, you may have to repeat yourself for me to hear you and hear you clearly. So don't be afraid to tell me where you stand..for I am a strong woman who can handle much of what this world offers. I believe in non-violent communication! A way in which partners can request and vocalize needs that are important to their beings. Again, clear communication is a must!!!
I am a passionate individual who loves life to the fullest. I am always trying to perfect myself, for I am not without flaws. I am creative, loving, and can hold my ground both financially, in conversation, and in speaking the truth when it needs to be heard. If you are afraid to speak due to rejection, sorry, but mistakes are par for the course. And we can handle mistakes, can't we?! It takes years to perfect relationships..I have no assumptions that you are perfect, but I do request that you are honest in who you are in the world today.
