ABOUT HER & WHO SHE'S LOOKING FOR

My perfect weekend would begin on Friday with dinner and couple bottles of red with friends at a low-key restaurant unwinding from the long work week. Saturday starts slowly, but then it's off to the green market to pick up fresh ingredients for a dinner prepared with friends. We try to cook something new while sipping spicy margaritas made with a tequila we infused with jalapenos. After dinner, we'd catch a live music set at the Hotbox or Manderley. Sunday is brunch, maybe a bike ride on Governor’s Island, then it's takeout and a Netflix marathon on the couch.

Although many of my social outings revolve around food, I am definitely no food snob. In fact, I don’t really like “foodies” or people who feel the need to comment on or criticize every flavor nuance. I don’t watch Top Chef despite having worked with about a dozen TC winners and fan favorites. I don’t take photos of my food in restaurants. I think of myself as an “eater” -- a lover of all foods -- but the name VillageEater sounded somewhat... distasteful. Rather than hit up a fancy hotspot, I tend to frequent charming downtown restaurants with a chill ambiance. Recently, I've been testing my culinary skills at home. My specialties include seafood tomato sauce over squid ink tagliatelle, skirt steak w/ cilantro chimichurri, baby lamb chops and garlic shrimp with sweet potato mash. I also make great guacamole and tacos "San Loco" style.

I love to travel, experience different cultures and cuisines and meet interesting people along the way with different perspectives on the world. Favorite trips included Cambodia, Japan, Spain, Uruguay and Petra, Jordan. Hoping to hit Vietnam, South Africa and Iceland in the next couple of years.

I stay fit and active and I love to jump into all sorts of physical activities from rafting to scuba diving and skiing. I'm looking forward to ziplining and surf lessons in Costa Rica someday not too far off...

What am I looking for? I'm looking for a connection that may eventually lead to a relationship. He should be non-judgmental and always show respect for everyone, regardless of who they are, where they come from or what they do. Also, I love someone with an appetite for all kinds of cuisine. No picky eaters, please!
