I'm an early education teacher with an absolute joy of educating children, but currently not teaching..I miss it greatly but I also love my position within a local recreation department so I really can't complain! I have every intention of getting back into teaching within the next few years. To keep busy in the summer I have assistant directed and directed local summer camps. Perfect summer job, kids, sun, and great field trips!
I am very involved in the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization and am currently on their YP4M board and also Rochester Main Street to promote community involvement to better the town of Rochester and it's reputation.
Some of the best times are hanging out with friends whether it be something as simple as watching a movie or playing a game, a few drinks at a fun restaurant or hiking/biking through the woods.
I have taken to running again after a small hiatus this winter and truly there is no better stress reliever than running and no better feeling than crossing the finish line after a 5 or 10k!
I love being outdoors especially in the summer so if I'm in the woods, on the water..life is good! Took up surfing this summer with friends and absolutely loved it! New Hampshire is such an amazing place to live and I feel after being away for 10 years I am just rediscovering all it has to offer from the ocean and lakes to the mountains.
It would be great to find someone with the same interests as me but also someone who can introduce me to new experiences and challenge me to be a better person. Someone who enjoys each day and all that it has to offer.
