I'm a brainy blonde with a great sense of humor. My friends and family would describe me as kind, compassionate, generous and very loyal. I'm very sweet, yet independent with many passions including photography and traveling the globe. I've lived in Europe, Latin America and the South Pacific and speak Spanish and a smattering of French and Italian.
Some things that make me smile: sand between my toes, penguins, the Brooklyn Bridge, shell collecting, chocolate croissants, Ray Charles' version of "Georgia on my Mind", the light right before the sun dips below the horizon, high thread count sheets, French roast coffee, sleeping in, sail boats, kayaking, snow, the O4W, the perfect french fry, thin crust pizza (Antico is my local favorite), chubby babies, a well-mixed GT, sports cars, European films and an incredible smile (especially when it's directed at me).
The man I'm looking for is kind, intelligent, well-educated and capable of making a commitment. He makes dates in advance and knows how to court a woman. He can communicate what he wants and doesn't have trouble talking about his feelings when appropriate. He makes me laugh as often as possible and is generous, honest and compassionate. I'm also looking for someone who cares about health, fitness and staying young in both body and spirit.
My life has never followed a traditional script. I'm not seeking a mcmansion in the burbs or a white picket fence. However, it would be nice to find someone who's still open to the possibility of family. Finally, I live near downtown and love it. I'm not looking to date someone miles outside I-285 -- unless we're talking NYC :)
