Life is a wonderful adventure, and I truly love the journey. I enjoy having new passions in my life to challenge and to inspire me. I tend to be attracted to unique or unusual places, activities and people. Every person has a special combination of qualities that make him or her unique. When someone has a beautiful inside, his outside becomes more beautiful.
Life and people are fluid. We are all constantly changing ever so slightly...evolving. People should never stop growing, nor learning. An ideal significant other will love someone not only as that person is today, but also, as to how that person might develop in the future. Great relationships require work, and the best couples grow both solo and together throughout their lives.
I love learning interesting, new things from someone with whom I might not have much in common. A man that I am interested in doesn't need to be like me, nor think like me. He simply needs to be inspired to want to understand me vice versa. When I have good chemistry with someone, I truly am interested in his life or interests.
While I definitely have my own opinions on various topics, I enjoy exploring life from all perspectives. I much prefer having someone respect my opinion (as I respect his), rather than have him agree with me on all topics. I'm not seeking a "perfect" person. It's the quirks that we usually fall in love with, and that distinguish people from each other.
An ideal man would have dignity and inner strength. Despite his successes, he would be kind and down-to-earth. He would have an open mind, a nurturing spirit, compassion, but he would also have ideas, direction and a bit of an edge. He should have be clever, unique and have an intense passion for the important things and people in his life. Above all, he must possess the ability to love himself, to deeply love me to make this world better because he is in it.
While I am not necessarily looking to "settle down" with a traditional lifestyle, that most people have, I'd love to create non-traditional traditions with someone, who is able to run the world with me. Our idea of "settling down" would never be to cage ourselves with the white picket fenced home in the suburbs. If we fell in love, we might elope in Europe and throw a beautiful reception for our family/friends when we returned. We would lead a life filled with things that personally inspire us. We will also remember to give to those who might not have what we might have...
I am an eternal optimist. Deep down, I believe in the good of people. I also believe in myself. I have good intentions and expect the same in return. While I've had my share of hurt, it's made me a stronger, better person. I'm not bringing unreasonable expectations into this journey. However, there is limitless emotion, passion and adoration in store for the man to whom I give my heart.
For now, I would like to meet someone with whom I can slowly develop a close bond of friendship. Chemistry will determine the rest. I want to proceed with caution, but it would be nice to meet someone, who gives me butterflies and who makes me want to fall in love.
There certainly are so many people in this world with whom it would be great to share experiences. Yet, I am only seeking one special guy. The one who will blow me away with his passion for life and for me.
