While my hair color may change occasionally, there are a few things that stand constant. One is that my family is the most important thing in my life. I actually like not just love my kids. Another is that I'm a glass half full kind of person. I am loyal, monogamous and deep. I like quality over quantity and substance over surface any day of the week. Yes its true, I am almost always happy. I tend to see the bright side in things and actively look for the good in people and situations. I believe wholeheartedly that when you change the way you look at things the things you look at change. Even a bad day can turn good depending on the way you look at it. I am curious and eager for life and all its experiences. I love to explore, a far off place, a neighborhood I haven't noticed before, a new restaurant, art galleries, museums, architectural salvage yards, thrift stores, you name it I love love love to travel and can think of nothing more fun. I don't like negative people or rudeness in any form. Bad tipping, impatience, aggression towards animals, intolerance towards others and pushy people are complete turn offs to me. I believe the man should take the lead and plan the date. I'm not a serial dater but I do think that women (at least THIS woman) needs a bit of romance. Have all men forgotten that? I have friends since kindergarten and speak to them regularly. I hate grocery shopping and doing the laundry. I like but don't love to cook and the only way I love it is with a glass of champagne and loud music. Then it's fun. I Don't do drugs, Don't smoke, Don't have any vices and expect the same. I am interesting and more importantly interested in life. I love to dance even if I look silly, listen to live music, hanging out with friends, dinner parties and charity events as well. I can have fun doing anything..even the most mundane things can be fun with the right attitude. I volunteer with an amazing group of adults with disabilities who show me every day what it means to be human and what the true meaning of life is and feel the absolute best while I'm there (It's very personal, explanation later). My musical tastes are very varied, I listen to a little bit of everything, top 40, rap, hip hop, opera, classical, alternative and even a bit of country. A bit of a free spirit and a little bit of a rebel. A true Northern California Girl. Perception is reality and when you perceive goodness around you that is what you experience. At least in my life and I'm thankful for it.
