Well I am originally from the Baltimore area and have been working in Philadelphia for the past two years. I have a very outgoing and engaging personality, I tend to beat to my own drum and am ridiculously inappropriate at the right and wrong times. Apparently everyone on this site is laid back and easy going so finding someone should be easy ... ha ....
Things I like:
- Laughing until it hurts - Hot Yoga - Wikipedia - Swearing in front of old people and children (just kidding) - IPA beer - My eagles
- Wandering around the city - Pizza - Music with uncensored lyrics is pretty sweet
Not So Much:
- Smokers - Snakes (the animal... people either but if I see a real one I might scream) - Intolerance of other cultures (besides the dutch... I had a guy almost beat me up in Amsterdam for my bookbag knocking him off his bike ... and breaking it. Its a long funny story) oh and I am afraid of bears (judge away)
My life currently is centered around my career, finishing grad school, and friends/family (who always seem to bring the best out of me) When i have the time, I love to travel, no matter if it is a quick road trip to Boston or a planned trip overseas. I have been all over and I am looking for someone to be adventurous with. Athletics and staying active is a part of my career and life so it is important for someone to share the same passion.
I love to cook and love going out to new restaurants to try different types of food. Diet coke is a go to, star-burst jellybeans are usually in a bowl on the table and anything chocolate/peanut butter (I am a true fat boy in heart). I cant say I do anything typical I am good with going out on the town till 4am or I am just as happy laying on the couch watching some sappy rom coms (I have a problem I know ha).
As I mentioned, my career is very important to me. Teaching, coaching and tutoring, I am often at school for 12 hours working with our alternative education program and Saturday academy. In the next year I will be making a transition from the gym shorts (health pe teacher ... Kenny Powers, anyone?) to wearing pants (Athletic Director). It is very important for me to find someone who is just as passionate and invested in their career but also someone who can cut it loose, step out of their comfort zone and be awesome.
Always keeping that "balance" is so important! Education, cute, ridiculously silly and passionate. So if you are that person who can make me a better person in every aspect and can give me a kick in the rear when I need it but give me a hug for the heck of it! You should message me!
