A friend asked me to make a list of pros and cons for a relationship. I did this and there are only a few things I was able to determine were essential to a relationship…..Love, trust and respect. There were many other things I had on the pro side would be nice but it comes down to the essentials for a long lasting relationship.
I would like to have a partner with shared interests so we can enjoy doing those things together. This could mean the same interests or enjoying each other’s interests. Being physically active is a big part of my life from hiking to competitive sports. I like to keep my mind active with learning and studying new things. New ideas and perspectives keep me interested. I have difficulty sitting idle for too long I need to be doing something although I can wind down at the end of the day and relax.
Watching live performances and sports is something I really enjoy. I love my work and what I do every day. It allows me to help people every day and I feel that I have made a difference in someone’s life including mine

I am attracted to a woman with a strong mind and body. Confidence and being comfortable with who she is goes a long way with me. Being family oriented is another attribute that I am attracted to because I come from a large close family and it is nice to be with someone who shares the tradition and values of family. Physical attraction is important although the attraction is connected to the person inside and it takes the whole package to work.
My essay has gone on too long. One way to get to know you is to write which is my least favorite because I do not do well with the written language. Second is talking over the phone which is fine but I miss the body language and nuance of being face to face and I am a physically expressive person. Third and my favorite in getting to know someone is in person. It is a shame this is starting online but it is good way of initiating contact.
I see my age in the profile is 47 but I am actually 48. I will have to see if I can change this!
