Well, I just moved to the area a few months ago. I’m originally from the east coast and lived there up until a few years ago when I moved to Seattle. After living in Seattle for two years, I was tired of the weather and was dreading another dark and dreary winter. So I put myself back on the job hunt, and was able to find my current position here in Orange County. Unfortunately moving here means starting over, but I’ve done it once before and I see it as an adventure. So far I haven’t really seen much, but I’m definitely not regretting my decision about moving, although the verdict is still out about this internet dating idea.
A few years ago my best friend encouraged me to use match.com a few months after a big breakup. And by encourage, I mean she basically sat me down at the computer and made me an account. Long story short, I emailed a few people back and forth a few times but I ended up meeting someone in the real world a few days later so I just left the account alone and forgot about it. Now years later and single in a new place I’ve been yet again encourage by a few friends to give match another try. And by encouraged I mean these people know me so well that if I didn't sign up myself I was told that they were going to do it for me. So I’m going to look at this yet another adventure and am going into this with an open mind.
So if you haven’t guessed, I’m kind of an adventurous one. I’m always willing to try something at least once, and if something really sounds like fun then you will find me up at the front of the line ready to go. But aside from that, I’m generally really laid back. I’m usually pretty quiet until I get to know people a little bit, but I generally fit in with any group. Other than that I’m pretty much a simple guy, and I am still a kid at heart that just wants to be goofy and have fun. I’d rather be outside than inside. I’d rather play a sport than watch one on TV, and I most definitely still want to be a super hero :)
