ABOUT HIM & WHO HE'S LOOKING FOR

Well I'm not a native Californian, but born on the east coast. I transplanted myself to the west coast a few years ago when I relocated to Seattle and after a couple of years of missing the sun for months at a time there; I wised up and relocated here, a place where it is always sunny and warm. Don't get me wrong, I love the Pacific Northwest in all of its beauty, and loved my time there, but having nothing but drizzling rain, varying shades of gray without even the faintest hope of sunshine, and extremely short days for months at a time where a little hard to get use to for any east coast native.

I often alternate between impulsive spontaneity like getting the idea to just go for a drive down the coast and camp out on the beach, and methodical planning with detailed lists and maps. Am I always in the right mood for the occasion? Ha ha no, but that's part of the fun of the adventure that makes for good stories and fond memories.

I like what I do for a living for the most part. I mean we all have days that make us crave a cocktail on our lunch hour, but fortunately mine are very few and far between. I work to live, not live to work, but I take pride in what I do. I work hard and often long days having to be serious almost all day long, that I just want to be silly and have fun when I can. Don't get me wrong, work has its down time too and I often find myself driving around with the window down, the radio on, and me singing whatever's on the radio as loud as I can all be it generally out of key. Oh and it’s not just the songs, but the commercials too. I often find myself drawing stares at the red light as I am unconsciously belting out the jingle for Allstate.

I have a decent sized family mainly comprised of cousins, aunts, uncles, and good friends made over the years that I am close to. All of whom want to come visit me and crash at my place now that I live by the beach in sunny Southern California. It’s funny that I never received quite the same response when I moved to Seattle, but I love them all just the same. Lately I've been spending my vacation time visiting those friends and family whom are spread across the country. But whenever I have the time to, I love to travel abroad, and on occasion if I'm lucky the two will intersect like my last trip to Peru. I renewed my passport not too long ago, and while I miss having all of the stamps and visas of my first passport replaced by empty pages in my new passport, I'm looking at those blank pages as a challenge and symbol of adventures yet to come. I am a very adventurous person and always up for new challenge whether it’s a multiple day raft race down the Amazon River or my more current challenge of learning to surf.

As for what I’m looking for here, I’m just looking to meet people I normally wouldn’t have had the opportunity to meet. You can never have too many friends, and you never know where you might meet the person who becomes your best friend in life.

For fun:

This is the first time that I have ever lived this close to the beach, so I'd really like to learn how to surf. I'm generally down for whatever as I love to try new things.

Favorite hot spots:

Well I don't have any around here yet, but back home there is this little known park on the river that overlooks the whole city that holds some very fond memories made with some of my closest friends.

Favorite things:

My favorite thing to eat would be anything. I mean really I'm not picky at all but I probably lean towards Thai food, Sushi, or any other type of ethnic food. My favorite color is green.

The last few things I read were "One Hundred Years of Solitude", "On the Road", "Killing Yourself to Live", "Avoiding Prison and Other Noble Vacation Goals", "One Shot", and I've just started reading "If on a Winter's Night a Traveler"
