I am a fireman, homeowner, paramedic, fisherman / outdoorsman, gym rat, and uncle. I have been in a series of long relationships that have not turned out to be "it". I am on-time, handle my business, and am honest and reliable. My expectations are high for myself and others. I was an army kid who moved around a bunch, but was raised in Texas. I am an ex TV news journalist who turned firefighter and that was a great decision. I have a flexible schedule and work 24 on, 48 off.
I like being challenged to improve myself by a strong, independent woman, who is also capable of being vulnerable part-time. I like having good conversations and appreciate a quick wit. I am stable and think I match up most with the "girl next door". This is all nice, but you just cannot tell if you connect until you do, and you cannot tell that until you try.
I also can sing a little bit and am learning some guitar. Also, I can handle myself in the kitchen and enjoy cooking, especially when the company is good.
