Would you believe me if I told you what my friends thought of me?!!!
Here’s what I think of me: I’m many different characteristics rolled into one.
So many years of my life were spent moving from one country to another that I relish having a cozy, constant homebase in NorCal. And yet, if I spend two or three months without seeing the inside of an airport… well, let’s just say it’s not pretty.
I’m a metropolitan girl, who’s still surprised that she’s living so suburban! And yet, when I think about the city in winter … brrrrr.
Love art galleries and the theater and even opera (the Italians!) but must balance them out with latest action flicks and hip hop songs and time spent being silly. Yoga is a must but karate is a good complement! And I think of myself as being thoroughly American –as long as hyphenates define being American!
My age, my look: well, I’m blessed with good genetics and an excellent workout regimen. Life in academia keeps me on my toes mentally and physically.
