I've been in Connecticut about two years now. I'm from Maine and moved here for a job that pays the bills and allows me to travel all over the country. It's kinda great :) Because I travel so much, I haven't really had a lot of time to dedicate to "getting out there". In between trips I had been going back up to Maine to spend time with friends and family and I'm really just now feeling settled in. I work with some really great people that have become my friends, and I'm now thinking about rounding out my life. :-)
I'm looking for my best friend. Someone that's happy, has a good sense of humor, and doesn't mind if I laugh at my own jokes or turn the country music up too loud, or any other kind of music for that matter. Someone that likes going to a movie, going to see live music, reading a book on the couch, going out to dinner, joining me on a trip, heading up to Maine for a weekend at the beach, or taking me to their favorite "anywhere". Someone mature and honest, and not snobby or selfish.
I'm a glass half-full kind of person. I think life is too short to take too seriously, but that doesn't mean I don't take my responsibilities seriously. I firmly believe that life was meant to be enjoyed and I'm doing my best to enjoy it. It would be even more fun to share the joy! Sounds cheesy, I know.
I guess you could say I'm pretty laid back and don't really need structure in my life. I prefer to be out of routine than in routine. Life should be interesting, challenging, fun.
So, here's to making new friends, acquaintances or maybe meeting someone special! :-)
P.S. If you really are interested, send an e-mail, not a wink...
