I suppose my friends would call me a Renaissance guy with broad interests in poetry, business, science, religion, pro sports, fitness, etc. After living all around the world, I currently work at a bank for which I'm up in Santa Barbara a few weekdays. I've never been much of a party guy, and would prefer catching an opera or ballet, or exploring a cool new restaurant. I also really dig gardening around my house, putting in kitchens, tiling, etc! HA Needless to say, I'd probably be too boring for the "socialite" or party girl.
I'm sort of old-fashioned, and still believe in valor, hard work, and chivalry. I've been well educated from very early on, and hope to continue to grow morally, spiritually and intellectually.
It would be a pleasant surprise to meet a lady who is unique in a world that's lost so much individuality; someone who doesn't have to be glued to twitter or a phone, and can find just as much pleasure in smiling at a stranger and living in the present moment. This takes a lot of courage! I think the art of communication has been largely lost in today's technology-isolated world. While a tough task nowadays, I'm thankful and content being single, and will gladly fill my life with learning and adventures.
