I like to travel, go to baseball and hockey games. While in London last year, I went to see Chelsea play and recommend a European football (soccer) match to anyone that has the opportunity. I also like lying on the beach in South Beach (and other warm climates) while sipping on a drink with good company and exploring new cities or other fun destinations. I read history, in part because I feel I neglected it (and many academic disciplines) in college where I was more into playing baseball and having a good time. I also read it because I enjoy it and think it's important to learn so that we can try to avoid repeating the same mistakes while repeating the positives. I don't get the same enjoyment from going out to bars and clubs anymore, so trying this out. If I like someone, then, in addition to the above interests of my own, I'm probably going to be interested in what they like and will ask a bunch of questions about it to better understand and appreciate their interests. I just turned 40, but I'm pretty sure I look the same as I did a couple months ago at 39. On the religion question, I was raised Catholic but I'm just not a big organized religion guy.
I do have a sense of humor and it won't take very long to come out, but I'm so wiped out right now that I have to go to sleep.
