**Major bonus points if you know what my headline is talking about** "If not now, when?" Is usually my first thought when presented with one of life's opportunities. Pretty much anything is worth checking out once (or twice if it's fun). Great food, once in a lifetime experiences, and historical cities are some of the best reasons to travel. If I am intrigued by different cultures or crazy festivals then at some point in the future I'm taking a vacation there. I've been in Metro Detroit since 2008, but still have dozens of "local attractions" that I have to check off the list so I'm sure we can find a little Michigan adventure if we met up. BTW, I love music and buy tickets to concerts the day they go on pre-sale because if you do anything, you might as well do it right. My 93 year old grandfather pretty much wrote the blueprint for what I want to do with my life. He's on the heels of the 70th anniversary with my grandmother and they still have a ton of fun every day together. He put himself through college, served our country in WWII, ran a successful business that allowed him to retire early and spent the better part of the last 40 years volunteering in his community and spending time with his family. That's the kind of man I consistently aspire to be. Successful people maintain balance in their life and personal development is a priority for me every day, even if it is in some small way. I'll never stop striving to maintain a sound mind within a sound body, I find ways to get exercise outside when it's nice out, but if that fails I'm at the gym 3-5 days a week. I'm always looking to improve personally and professionally. For the next 13 months that usually will mean working towards completing my MBA while juggling my career and a few civic organizations. I am very logical and action oriented. If I want something to change, I do something about it. Each day is a new opportunity. There is more out in the world than I have experienced so far. When I get free time I make the best of it. Comerica Park is my home away from home. I'll catch 20-30 Tigers home games a year and usually I plan one or two road series trips to visit friends around the country. I'm kinda on a mission to see a game in every MLB stadium. Also, I'll lose my voice at every Lions home game. Life has so many possibilities... my bucket list will have thousands of check-marks when its all said and done. I'm close with my family and grew up in a house with 4 boys. You wouldn't guess it from seeing us together, but my dad and grandparents taught us all to cook. Most family gatherings or trips have something to do with food. All of my family is in West Michigan so I try to get there once a month to see my grandparents, niece nephew, etc... What I'm looking for... My perfect match is a woman who wants to make the world a better place because of what she does with her time and talent in life. Career, family, community, nearly anything as long as its something she is passionate about. I am a very active person and I believe that similar levels of activity and fitness are important parts of long term compatibility. I am looking for a woman who can feel comfortable in multiple situations. A person who is as comfortable going classy sipping wine or a cocktail at a live jazz show, as she is slamming beer at a concert or football tailgate. I am always (no really, always) open to expanding my horizons but it would be nice if my better half had similar ideal ways to spend time together. I know it sounds super cheesy but I want a partner in crime, lol. Don't hesitate to shoot me an email. You never know...
