I'm the outgoing and active type. I grew up in Ohio and went to, and graduated from UCLA. Later, I moved to Colorado and returned five years later to live permanently in the LA area.. I have many close-knit friends in LA from different walks of life and enjoy the company of many.
I enjoy the outdoors and staying active and bicycling is certainly high on my list. I've gone on 6 or 7 cycling trips abroad to Europe and elsewhere touring the countryside by saddle with water bottle close at-hand. I enjoy golfing and hiking quite a bit and hitting the gym. I'm not "the brunch type guy" on a sunny 70 degree Sunday afternoon under an umbrella with a pack of friends.
Traveling and seeing the world is something I enjoy considerably. I just returned from visiting Slovenia and Belgium for the first time. I love to read and enjoy both fiction and non-fiction. "The Unbroken" and "In the Garden of Beasts" are especially two great books I've read recently. I like writing, movies, photography and of course seeing my teenage son develop. I'm a very responsible parent and my son gives me a lot of joy. He is most important to me.
My ideal match would compliment me and enjoy participating in at least some of the activities or interests I have. I know what makes me tick ands like to do at this stage of my life but am open to new experiences. I do enjoy art museums believe it or not. I seek an attractive, outgoing, athletic woman that "gets me." Yes, I'm a gentleman and respectful of others........I also appreciate someone that is punctual and is respectful of others and their time - meaning good character. Hopefully, that's you.
