Hello! I am embracing modern times & my deep aversion to anything technical with an online dating profile. Thanks to my incurable positive outlook & being a hopeless romantic, I am hopeful that Match will prove to be an efficient way of meeting "the one." (If you are 50 yrs old or smoke "anything", I am wishing you the best in your search, but we will not be a love match.)
I am a big-hearted Texas girl who has escaped the torturous heat of the South in favor of the perfect outdoor lifestyle in Cali. I love how so many people in LA are pursuing their passions and living life to the fullest here. That is exactly what attracted me to this city 9 years ago. I get to do what makes my heart soar for a living & also meet so many interesting people in the process. I find it so refreshing how many different people from across the U.S. have gravitated to "The City of Angels." It feels like people are playing on higher ground in this city ... professionally, spiritually & emotionally. Truly inspiring.
In a city of 10 million people, I am convinced there is at least 1 like-minded man who has integrity, is relationship oriented, attractive & has a great personality. If you are a down-to-Earth, humble guy, I am determined to find you! Despite my love of 4" heels & cool fashion, I am a sporty girl who loves running, hiking, marathons, tennis, hard workouts, softball & pushing my body & my mind to new levels.
I'm a huge football fan & love watching sports ... my heart goes weak for an athletic manly man! But only if he is a gentleman, lives a clean, healthy lifestyle and does not go out drinking 3 nights a week. Basically, the All-American kinda guy. It's a dying breed, but I've got high hopes.
This is what makes me ridiculously happy:
*Exploring new cities
*Funny People
*Inspirational quotes, books & movies
*A great view
*80's music (Yep, I said it. Hair Nation on XM ... refer back to "I'm from TX.")
*Hanging out with my family & my Mom's hugs (she's really good at hugging everyone!)
*Playing backgammon or gin rummy with my Dad (even though he refers to himself as "the great brain" & wins every damn time.)
*Eating amazing food (probably because I'm a horrible cook, but I sure do love to eat!)
*Being in groups of fun, kind, intelligent people (surprisingly easy to find even in LA)
*Manicures & chair massages
*Learning from people who are really great at what they do - whatever their gift may be
*Chivalry/Being in the company of a gentleman
*Fresh squeezed OJ (Just say 'no' to concentrate.)
*Dark chocolate (At least 72%. Just sayin.)
*Facing my fears (like being duped by someone's profile picture from 1995.)
*The Texas Longhorns/Cowboys/Rangers/Stars/Mavericks
*Being outdoors
*Reading business books (I'm fascinated by wicked savvy business minds)
*Holidays (I love giving presents & celebrating fun times ... that's what life's all about!)
*Live Music/Concerts
*Interior Design
*Sappy Chick Flicks (Deal with it.)
This is what makes me run for the hills:
*Turbulence in airplanes
*Creepy bar guys/Womanizers
*The Apple Store (my brain shuts down & I start to hyperventilate)
*Fedora's (Ummm ... what happened to regular baseball hats?)
*Little dogs & the people who dress them up
*Techno Music (non-negotiable)
*Hollywood Clubs (I'd rather have a fork in my eye.)
*People who wear sunglasses indoors.
*Electronics (that's what hot guys are for)
*Over-the-top plastic surgery
*Scary movies (Have fun on your boys night out!)
Where are you, emotionally stable, tall & athletic man? Reveal yourself! ;-)
