I'm originally from Texas, lived in San Diego for a little while, and am now brand new to NC. I'm a Texas Aggie and I'm now in a slight sports depression until college football starts back up. Go ahead and throw all the Johnny Football/Aggie hate you want, I've put up with absolutely horrible football for almost 15 years so I'm going to milk this for all its worth. I'm a cowboys fan on top of that...shoot me now. I go back and forth between weight lifting and crossfit style workouts. I say crossfit style because I'm not a fan of crossfit or the majority of the following it has as a whole, and your more than welcome to ask me why...conversation piece, see what I did there! When the weather is right, I'm skydiving as much as I can. I also have an advanced SCUBA license, so I definitely want to find a place to rent some equipment and explore. Other than that, I'm pretty active...I swam in college so sitting around on my ass doesn't appeal to me too often. My career choice involves being proficient at both, but its going to take some getting to know me to find out what I do. When and if you find out, I think you'll see why. My major in college was computer engineering (so I can hold my own with the nerd crowd), but that's not what I do now. I'll give you more once I get to know ya!
Lets see what else. I'm a pretty outgoing person. I don't get embarrassed essily, and consider myself pretty good at carrying conversation. I was born and raised in Texas. I graduated from Texas AM in 2009...I took a few victory laps, don't hate. I swam my freshman year in college.
Despite that it's apparently not cool to be a Christian in America anymore, I am un-ashamed that I am. I still make mistakes and screw up constantly, but grace overwhelms my many shortcomings. I grew right in the middle of the Bible belt and went to one of the most conservative universities in America, but I can promise you I won't judge you for your beliefs. I would rather hang around someone thats messed up and real about it than someone who acts like they have it all together when they don't. I respect everyone's free will to choose, and it would rock if more people did the same.
My being on here started simply out of curiosity. The bar scene isn't really where I imagine meeting cool girls, although I do go out on the weekends now and then in Raleigh or Wilmington. All that to say, a few years ago I would have never been caught dead on one of these sites, but nowadays, I figured what the hell...It's a changing world!
If ya want to know more, just ask! I make no judgements on first impressions on here, because I know I've probably sounded ridiculous once or twice. I don't have some rule about how long I have to talk to someone on here before I'm down to meet up for some food and/or drinks (or any other activity you deem worthy)...I don't want to learn everything about someone on here for obvious reasons.
