What's better than getting to know someone new? I accept people for who they are, being judgmental just isn't the way to be. I can enjoy just about anything this world has to offer, I'm very open minded. Humor and compassion are my two strongest traits. I'm certainly not shy, and welcome anyone to get to know me! I have such a wide array of hobbies that I can literally fit in with any crowd or go with the flow of any ones interests. I'm what I call a 'closet nerd', I can get along with any social group and be 'cool', but I do have a secret love for science and nerdy things. I mean, while I was in college I worked at Abercrombie & Fitch, and secretly played World of Warcraft with the guys in my dorm building. That's the definition of what I call a 'closet nerd'. As I've become older I've started realizing there is no reason to hide who I am, so I'm much more open about my nerd interests. Like I said, I can get into anything as long as the people around me are enthusiastic about what we're doing! I get swept up in the excitement of people doing what they love!! I can literally fit into most social groups. I'm not a 'tough' guy who always tries to be better than the next guy, or shoots dirty looks to other guys. I accept people, and I'm willing to carry a conversation with complete strangers. Just hearing about other peoples life interests, and learning how everyone is the same and different at the same time fascinates me! I'm very supportive of my friends and family; I take all relationships in life very seriously. Not just showing a significant other why they're important, but showing everyone I meet why they're important. I'm fun to be around, I would say that my personality is unique, and stands out. I’m typically the funny guy in the group, I was told just the other day by a few friends that I reminded them of Charlie Day (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), and I used to be compared to Ben Stiller a lot. Humor and making people laugh is a huge part of who I am. If people aren't laughing, they’re not living! I enjoy intellectual hobbies and discussions, as well as sports, gaming, camping, animals, like I said I can get into about anything. I've always loved cooking. Anything I cook is original; I've never used a recipe. I find that going to taste, and experimenting goes a long way. I have two dogs and love to take them into the country to run and play. They are very well behaved, good with kids, and love to cuddle! I am divorced, with one child. It wasn’t a long marriage, and we didn’t separate because I was a jerk or because I treated her poorly, nothing like that. It’s a long and complicated story, but if you’re really that curious I’ll share it with you. My son is a fantastic little guy, and being a father is the definition of true love. He lives with his mother, so I don't have him with me all of the time, though I wish I could. I sincerely hope that having a son would not be your reason for losing interest. I believe that having a son changed me into a more responsible hard working man. It made me reevaluate my life, and caused me to become a man instead of a 20 something boy. A perfect date for me can range from staying in relaxing and taking it easy, all the way to slapping on a suit and going on a high class dinner. I love to travel; I’ve been to Italy and all over America. Traveling the world with a special someone (and someday family) is a top priority in my life. I do enjoy being very active, and as the weather improves most of my activities I plan are outdoor adventures. I am into Kayaking, and water sports, hiking, camping, and just about any sport. I love taking my dogs on hikes, or just taking them to the country side to run and play fetch. My roommate is a personal trainer, and we have a gym in our garage...thus working out has become and important part of our routine. Don’t be shy, if I haven’t contacted you, feel free to do so!
