I am very genuine, encouraging and yes as noted above intelligent to boot! Amazingly the combination exists. I actually went to Virginia Tech and was a Chemistry Major. I am excited about the prospect of discovering my Prince Charming; okay all things being equal I think a really great guy just might have a chance! Don't give up yet; I'm rooting for you and will be cheering you on along the way if you truly have potential; just stay focused on the goal.
I'm at a point in my life where I'm looking forward to finding a guy who mirrors the values and traits I hold dear. I am driven and know what I want out of life. I have been very blessed and am very content. I have been fortunate enough to have built a beautiful, brick colonial home which I have owned for six years. It backs completely to woods with a mountain view. I really enjoyed walking the lot as well as every aspect of the building process from the ground up. And yes believe it or not I actually really enjoy mowing the lawn and edging it is like the frosting on a cake to me. Go figure sometimes some of the challenging things in life turn out to be the most rewarding! The qualities I am looking for and admire most in a man are someone who is secure and confident and has a clear purpose in life as well. That's my tough side. On a softer note, I am a romantic at heart and am looking for one great guy who is genuinely affectionate and compliments me both in public and in private. I am a little adventurous and spontaneous and like trying new things!
I am down to earth and pretty laid-back most of the time or so I've been told. Do I have high standards? YOU BET I DO and I am very proud of that quality as well as my high moral ethic. Let’s just say the word desperate is not and has never been a word that exists in my vocabulary. I just started this search and I am very optimistic about the journey along the way in pursuit of THAT ONE GREAT GUY who meets my rigorous standards. I am all about family and respect as well. If you pass the barr (don't worry it's not as hard as the barr exam that attorneys take) I will tell you more! Did I mention that my dad graduated from THE CITADEL, an engineer at that. That being said here is my list but at the end you may have a chance at a very rewarding not to mention very exciting and passionate relationship! Okay get ready to take notes or not; I will leave that up to your discretion: You need to be in addition to anything I might have already mentioned above or below very positive, optimistic, energetic, helpful, follow through on promises, be a good conversationalist and listener. See I didn't even say great but at least good, proficient because we all know at the end of the day how important communication is in every aspect of a loving relationship. Okay, how is the note taking coming along because last but not least a really good sense of humor is KEY. If you can't make me laugh you won't make the cut, sorry. I have been told that I am a good challenge, pretty witty but I don't actually hand out report cards, someone just made that up!! Ha Ha. I tend to perpetuate win-win situations so there is a prize at the end but only for that one select guy. I have a huge respect and admiration for any man who puts his life on the line for our country i.e. Military Officers, Fire Fighters, Law Enforcement, DEA, FBI, etc.
Being physically fit is very important to me. I love playing tennis, going to the gym, pretty much anything outdoors, especially hanging out around a fire pit with friends and if you get a couple of drinks in me I am even more fun. When I went to New York with some of my girl friends I really enjoyed making the fire in their wood burning fireplace. For whatever reason none of my girl friends seem to be able to do this. I thought it was a piece of cake.
Most importantly, you need to be a Christian with a strong sense of good moral values who will treat me with the respect I
