I try to keep active and enjoy traveling immensely [32 countries / 7 continents]. Some of my favorite highlights have been New Zealand, Vietnam, Syria, Tanzania, Italy, and Antarctica. I work full time as a photographer and manage my own residential and commercial property and I was a SCUBA instructor (still current though only tend to do private classes for friends for fun) and have had some really great experiences through my adventures; including swimming with wild dolphins, diving the Great Barrier Reef and spending a week on the wrecks in Truk Lagoon, Micronesia.
I have had so many great times when traveling that I love to hear of the experiences of others and see their excitement as they retell stories and memories. There is just so much to see and do in this world and it is exciting that there is so much unknown to me, and always will be. Some of my favorite experiences have been opening the tent door and seeing some vast landscape, horseback riding around the Giza Pyramids, as well as visiting Angkor Wat, Petra, and Machu Picchu.
I'd love to share ideas, old tales, and maybe find someone interested in joining me in the journey sometime. I love doing impromptu road trips and often keep any eye on Kayak or Travelzoo for last minute deals. I am an quite open and forthcoming and hope my partner would be as well. Sometimes people worry about going to a party and not knowing anyone, but I get to do that on a regular basis and enjoy interacting with people as part of my event photography business. I have worked hard over the past couple of years to build up my photography and property management business as well as find time to travel, but am looking to find a true partner to share in some of those adventures. After a great time at food and wine fest after not having visited in 5 years, I decided to pick up a annual pass to Disney and am looking for opportunities to go back.
Qualities that are sought would include absolute honesty, quick wit, and a conversationalist, enjoyment of playful banter and friendly sarcasm, and a learned nature or zest for trying new things. I do have occasional rants, so be prepared to hear about random topics such as breakfast cereal mascots or why potatoes make great Valentine's Day gifts.
I maintain a healthy lifestyle and run at least thrice a week and compete in a road or adventure race about once every other month (most recently Rock and Roll 1/2 in St. Pete for 2013). My ideal match is someone that also tends to have varied interests as well as the inclination and flexibility to enjoy life, whether it be sushi dinner, a few drinks at WOB, or going to Rock the Park event downtown to enjoy the music and evening ambiance. I want a partner with whom I can share a variety of things. I am fine with children and know they are often part of the package and am fine with that. I have a lot to teach and share. The photos are just of fun things I have been fortunate to experience in my recent years, not just trips I did last year. Believe me, I love doing just local and relaxing things as well. I really want to find a true partner who can teach me a few things as well.
