Wink if interested, please! That said, here's who I am:

--I’m a happy city girl--although LA's far from a typical city. I can certainly enjoy weekends in the country, but for daily living and longer vacations, am far more turned on by urban culture, convenience, and beauty, be it great architecture or just a few trees--I LOVE trees. Most suburbs (unless really charming) aren't my thing--no history, too many cul-de-sacs, and too much driving.

--Big movie buff, w/ most of my career in the biz (tho not now), so would be nice if you also enjoyed film.

--Free time revolves around projects and being productive. My current project is getting rid of stuff. Less is more when it comes to things, I think. I prefer to invest time and money in experiences over material items.

--I say what I mean and mean what I say. I think doing so is a huge marker of one’s integrity. If you say you're going to call or want to meet--mean it and act on it, please.

--I'm more arty than sporty. You don't need to be artsy at all, but I tend to be attracted to men who at least appreciate the arts more than sports.

--Also more cerebral than empty-headed.

--I’m from the Midwest (Chicago area), so while I can play the LA game (hey, at 5’10”, you have to own it, don’t you?) and am fairly liberal, I’m a traditionalist at heart and SO ready for the next phase in my life: finding a partner and building a family (are you open to having a child?).

--That said, I’m not ready to give up adventure or risks in life entirely...hope I'll never be.

--I’m trying to live a life of meaning and service to a higher power; meditation helps me with this.

--My drink of choice is green and non-alcoholic. A glass of wine and dessert is fine on occasion, but healthy choices=longer life (let’s hope!). That said, new restaurants and fine dining are also great. Take me to a Vegas buffet, though, and all bets are off.

-My work involves a certain level of sophistication--OK, actually a lot--but I can be a total spazz outside of the office. Yes, I said spazz. Not crazy--just enthusiastic, in a childlike way.

--...but I’m also an old soul who can be turned off by immaturity and irresponsibility. There is a difference between childish and childlike.

--I’m well-traveled. Yes, I know everyone says that here, but I grew up in airports and on planes, and being 30,000 feet in the air is one of my favorite places in the world. That said, there’s sooo much more of the world yet to see--hopefully w/ my future partner/family.

--I love to dance. I mean LOVE. I’m not saying I’m great at it. And I rarely do it anymore. So, I love a good wedding to get my groove on. If you can groove with me? Major bonus points!

--I make a mean cheese fondue. Even though I rarely eat dairy.

--When I wear green, my eyes look green, and when I wear blue, they're blue-ish—that's the magic of hazel eyes.

--I love a man in a suit or nice J. Crew yuppiness. I also find Elvis Costello glasses sexy.

--Beautiful things (people and places) inspire me--but beauty AND functionality combined is the ultimate home run in my world of aesthetics.

--I enjoy living in LA, but have grown weary of mate-searching here. Thus, if Mr. Right doesn't appear soon, I may head elsewhere for a while: Europe, Chicago, NY, New England, New Orleans, or ? Being baggage-free means I can pack my bags and take off if I want, so why not? That said, I'd much rather take my bags to your place and have a reason to stay. Travel inspires me--but love inspires me even more.

--I love to make you laugh and laugh in return (who doesn't?)—but be prepared, my laugh can be loud and robust. If you find Julia Roberts’ big, open-jawed guffaw endearing, we’ll do just fine.

--I limit my time online, so please be patient for me to respond. If you’re interested, let’s take it offline as quickly as possible, please!
