I'm an energetic father of two amazing children that keep me young. I was married for almost 10 yrs; divorced now over 2 yrs. There is no drama there and I'm ready to meet someone new to share my life with.
I was told I resemble Scott Baio; I choose not to disagree. :-) I'm someone who is open to just about anything and can enjoy the simple things in life (I try to live in the 'now'). I have an adventurous side that wants to do things I've never done before - join me? I'm patient and comfortable in any situation. Sometimes I enjoy a relaxing night in (a movie, games, reading) and sometimes I want to get out and be social with friends. I pride myself on being a gentleman and will try to always get the door for you. If someone sneezes (and I heard it), I will be the first to say 'Bless you'. I've climbed mountains in CO and camped for a week in the boundary waters. I traveled a bit around the world (Japan, Europe, Mexico) and look forward to doing more of that. I think I'm funny and confident without being cocky. Be warned, my sense of humor is a bit on the dry side. I take care of myself through running and working out regularly. I like to know how things work and will try to fix or make things run better if I can - that includes relationships. My motto is: leave things better than you found them. To sum up, I'm a decent, well-rounded man who doesn't hunt.
There is more to me, but some things should take time to discover and can't really be captured in writing. It's learning these little things that make new relationships fun. I do prefer face to face conversation and think that's the best way to get to know eachother.
What am I looking for? Honesty, passion, caring, fun, stability and laughter. I want to be your best friend but have that attraction/chemistry where I get goosebumps when I see you from across the room. I believe that sensation will just happen through love and respect. I would like you to have a sense of adventure but understand that I am still a father (so nothing too illegal). You should know who you are and what you want; or at least have a plan on how to get there.
By the way, don't be afraid to contact me first; I appreciate a woman who isn't afraid to take some initiative.
Just so you know, I will read your profile - every word. I generally start at the bottom to see if I match what you're looking for. If you're looking for someone taller than 5' 9" or you still want to have kids, I move on. No need to waste our time - those are things I can't change without surgery. :-)
