Although I now call the DC area home, I'm from North Carolina and consider myself a southerner at heart. I still root for my Carolina Panthers and I might be liable to say "ya'll" every now and then. :) I'm far from perfect but I strive to be a good person and woman. I'm laid-back and thoughtful and I think I have a pretty good sense of humor. Once you get to know me, you realize that I can be really silly and playful. With that being said, I also know when to be serious.
I love going to the movies. There is nothing like a good action flick, especially a comic book movie. The Dark Knight trilogy is my favorite! I also love music because it has the ability to ellicit so many different moods. I have what some may consider to be unique tastes when it comes to the music I enjoy. I'm all over the place in terms of my musical tastes. I can go from Rick Ross to Adele to Anthony Hamilton to Led Zeppelin. Some of my other favorite things are live music, dining out, shopping, traveling, sightseeing, and forensic and science shows (I'm a nerd when it comes to that stuff :) ).
About the one, I'm looking for - someone who has a good heart, is intelligent, who doesn't take themselves too seriously, is open, honest, who has a sense of humor, integrity, and who recognizes that communication is very important. Noone is perfect, we all have our faults. What counts is when people are willing to recognize their flaws and perform some introspection and self-improvement.
