Who am I?!?
Well... I am 1/4 Japanese... but only like some kinds of sushi... much to the dismay of my Japanese grandma! I am a Colorado native... but have lived in both Washington and Kansas when I went to college and law school. Now that I have lived away from CO, and had the chance to miss the beautiful blue skies and mountains, I really never want to live anywhere else!
I'm an attorney and absolutely love my job! Being a trial lawyer is long hours, stressful, and tough work... but I wouldn't trade it for anything because I get to spend every day helping a client and making a difference in someone's life that has been turned upside down. I truly believe that anyone should be entitled to justice, no matter how big/powerful/intimidating the other guy... and my job lets me be that David to a Goliath in the courtroom. I certainly know now that I was born to help others... it's not just my job, it's my passion and my life.
I am also an avid animal lover. I have two dogs... a pug named Sachi and a pug/terrier mix named Moose. They brighten my life and make me smile every single day! I also fell in love with whales and dolphins (well all sea life) when I lived in WA, so in my free time I try to donate my skills and knowledge to non-profits that protect the those sea animals I fell in love with.
I love to travel and was thrilled when I had the opportunity last year to take a month long trip to Australia and New Zealand. It was by far the most exciting trip I've ever taken... and really just spurred my desire to do more traveling whenever I get the chance. I've been to London, but have always wanted to see many of the other amazing places in Europe, and of course, someday visit Japan where my grandma is from and get in touch with my japanese heritage.
Well the guy I am looking for is kind, honest, hard working, motivated, but still has the time for a relationship. I know what it means to be busy, but I also understand and appreciate the time it takes to make a relationship worthwhile and happy. My partner would have to feel the same way.
