Well, well, well…. here we arrive at the dreaded “talk about yourself” section of this process. I guess “I’m fun and interesting” wouldn’t suffice, so I’ll take a shot and do my best. Truth be told, I’m much more interested in learning about other people than talking about myself. I like to strike up conversations anywhere and learn about people; sometimes it is a bit weird but always interesting. It’s rare to find that dreaded awkward silence when I’m around.
As for what I’m looking for in someone, first and foremost I admire someone with great ambition. That, above all else, is the greatest quality I look for in someone. I am, and have always been, passionate about education. I graduated with both my bachelors and Masters in Economics from the University of California, Davis and am currently working my way up in a career in the finance industry as a portfolio manager. I also workout regularly to keep in shape and look for the same attributes in girls I date. Physical fitness is definitely a big part of my life. I am very much a jokester, some might call me sarcastic but I just consider myself to be witty. I love people who can keep up with witty banter and challenge any joke or comment I may have. In the end though, all this sarcasm covers up a fun loving personality that is easy going and optimistic, exciting, and fun to be around.
I moved here to San Diego just over 2 years ago from Northern California and I absolutely love it here. I can never truly have a bad day living in San Diego. I love to explore all this city has to offer, which includes the never-ending search for the perfect burrito (my favorite food and, most likely, the inevitable cause of my premature death haha). I also enjoy trying out new restaurants bars and exploring new outdoor activities around the area.
Like most of you on here, I’m taking to here to hopefully meet some fun, interesting, and intelligent new people. It’s hard with the structured life of a demanding job to get out and meet people as much as I would like to, so I thought at the encouragement of friends who have seen success on here to give it a shot and see what happens. If nothing else, it makes for great stories, right?!
