First and foremost, I love to laugh. If I'm going to spend the rest of my life with someone, I want to laugh all the time and have lots of fun together. I consider myself an extremely sarcastic person as well, so being able to put up with that is a must!
I am very close with my family and talk to either my mom, my dad, or my younger brother as often as I can. I can count the number of people I consider true friends with two hands, which is something that I'm extremely proud of. It is a very exclusive club with fairly high standards, but I promise you I am worth the trouble it takes to get in the door! :)
I am full of contradictions, something that I am proud of, something that I think adds uniqueness to any personality, and something that I would admire and find intriguing in a mate. On the one hand, I love to travel. I went on a month-long road trip all over the United States a couple of years ago. Some of my favorite stops include the Grand Canyon, Arches National Park, Park City, Yellowstone, Mount Rushmore, Ever since it ended, I've wanted to hop right back in the car and do it all over again. However, this time, it would be nice to have a travel buddy who I can share the adventure with. On the other hand, I can be a bit of a homebody and love to just curl up on a comfy couch and watch a movie after eating a simple pasta dinner, my favorite food by far!
I love exploring LA, especially the Valley where I recently relocated to, and finding fun restaurants and diners where I can grab a good burger and milkshake and enjoy a night out with friends. I like a good dive bar occasionally, too, but clubs and trendy Hollywood hot spots are definitely not my thing, it's just not me.
I love sports! I am a huge USC Trojans fan and I love the San Diego Padres and Chargers as well. And while hockey still isn't my thing, my cousin did manage to turn me into a Carolina Hurricanes fan while I lived in North Carolina for a year. I'm always up for going to a baseball game or watching college football all day on TV.
I am an avid reader and book lover! My odd retail work schedule keeps me pretty busy, so I haven't been reading as much as I would like. I was on pace to read 50 books last year, but fell just short at #47, Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks, which I finished back in September. So close! :( If I have an afternoon free, I love to hang out at Barnes Noble for an hour or two, most times content to wander and not buy anything. If I bought something everytime I went to a bookstore, I'd definitely go broke! That's why what's even better is finding a great used bookstore and roaming the bookstacks until I find a great book I never would have heard of or found anywhere else for a cheap price!
Mostly, I am just a regular girl looking for a regular guy, my best friend, someone who I can watch sports with, travel the globe with, go see the latest thriller or romantic comedy with, eat a good meal with, explore new places with, talk about my day at work with, laugh a lot with, and share my life with, the good, the bad, and the ugly!
