I recently moved back to Knoxville to be closer to my family and to change careers. I'm very excited about moving back to my hometown and look forward to meeting someone special to spend time with. I am ultimately looking for a serious relationship, but also looking forward to meeting new people. If it goes somewhere, that's great. No hurry.
I was a teacher for the past 12 years but am ready to hand that important job over to new talent coming up. I'm currently working with two literacy/youth related non-profits as a volunteer recruiter and events coordinator and love it. In the past, have really enjoyed voluteering in fundraising for Ronald McDonald House, guiding food tours, and even worked part-time for a brewery for a while.
I love to plan gatherings with and for friends and spend time hanging out with my family. I also love music, particularly live. I have two fun and friendly rescue pups. I practice yoga regularly and love to be outside, especially in the spring and fall. Staying healthy is important to me, so I try to eat well and workout most days. College football season is actually my favorite season, and I've learned the hard way that life is about spending time with the people and doing the things you truly love.
I'm looking for someone who enjoys his life, is comfortable with himself, is kind and generous with others, is naturally curious about the world, and has a positive attitude; someone who will inspire me to be the best version of myself that I can be while enjoying every day together. Someone who enjoys the simpler things in life, has similar interests, enjoys a great meal and conversation, and has a great sense of humor.
