I think I’m pretty balanced at this stage of my life. I grew up with a health nut mom who ran three miles a day and started me on tai chi and yoga at a young age. I wasn’t allowed to eat red meat or processed foods. As I grew older, I discovered all the foods I’d been denied as a child. I try to eat pretty healthy but I do enjoy an occasional burger or sweets ;) Instead of yoga, I became more interested in martial arts and the gym.
Likewise, my friends thought I was weird growing up because instead of watching the latest blockbuster movies, I was always being taken to see the latest foreign and art house films. Our conversations would go something like this: Them - “Didn’t you love 'Ferris Bueller’s Day Off?'” Me - “I haven’t seen that but I did enjoy 'Au Revoir Les Enfants.'” I grew up on public television, ballet, opera and the symphony. Not exactly cool when you’re in junior high. However, I soon caught up with pop culture and now love an eclectic mix of everything when it comes to movies, music, etc.
I was definitely a tomboy as a little girl and I’d like to think I still retain an adventurous personality whether it be trying new cuisines or bungee jumping (I’ve only done that once!)
At the end of the day, I’m just a normal girl looking to meet a nice, normal guy who's interested in a long term relationship. I get along especially well with easy-going, unpretentious and down to earth people. Please don't contact me if you're interested in "hooking up." No judgment if that's your thing but I'm just not interested. :)
