My friends would say I have a good heart, am secure in my own skin, curious, a "thinker", active, and well employed. My emotional baggage fits in my carry-on. Life at 51 looks good, combining my solar powered energy with the experiences of the path that brought me here. You'd feel good about introducing me to mom, and what she doesn't know won't hurt her.
From OC, fortunate enough to have moved around the U.S. climbing the corporate ladder before returning home to roost in 2000. Living in a variety of places helped me realize that fulfillment is found in the simple things. My parents were married for 53 years and I am eternally grateful for my upbringing in OC.
I value independent thinkers and down to earth people. Tuned into ambiance, chemistry and the vibe of people and places. Like exploring in general and finding moments that awe and inspire. I'm responsible 24/7 with home, family and in my job, so on my own time I like to turn the music up, order the spicy curry and take the footprint-free fork in the road.
I like to follow and discuss travel, business, investing, green issues, books, edgy movies/TV and especially music (all types of rock - bluesy, alt, roots, punk ...). Go to a lot of concerts, always have a tune in my head, I'll spare you from actually singing it. Love to be in, on or near the water, preferably the big, blue Pacific. And I'm guessing every profile you've read loved microbrews, barbq and sports ... yes, I'm in too.
Not a formal list, but am attracted to active, diverse, secure, "real", passionate women who enjoy day/road trips and free flowing conversations. Extra points if you have a couple books on your nightstand and if one has "Grey" in the title, that's cool. Hope you prefer looking out the front windshield rather than the rear view mirror.
