I'd like to think that I'm not your average typical girl. I wanted to be a racecar driver when I was younger. Unfortunately, that's not a good reason for speeding. I've had a few interesting encounters with officers who have pulled me over some have laughed at my various reasons for speeding, unfortunately others didn't think I was funny. I will say that I have definitely taken it down a few notches since last year though.
I definitely have an adventurous personality. I haven't had a chance yet to do all I'd like to do but I plan on accomplishing everything on my bucket list. Including but not limited to: Swimming with sharks (I swam with baby sharks but I want the real deal), Sky diving, Bungee Jumping, Rock climbing (not the indoor kind) and pretty much anything extreme.
Despite all of that, I certainly do clean up nicely.
In general I'm a very easy going chick. When it comes to food I typically have no preferences. Barbecue? I'm down. Wings and beer? count me in. A nice steak? I can do that. I'm okay with salads too. Even when it comes to movies, I'll let you pick what we get to watch. I'm always up for trying something new and different but it's gotta be fun. Lucky for you I find fun in just about anything. Go-karts, Mini-golf, Museums, Operas, Amusement parks, Road trips, Broadway shows (off-broadway too), Concerts and even Sporting events.
Speaking of sporting events, in order of importance Hockey, Football and Baseball are my 3 favorite sports. I'm a Rangers, Jets and Mets fan. And yes I am used to the dissapointment when it comes to some of my teams so no need to poke fun. To be completely honest with you, I've been told I'm a Mets fan by exposure. When I was younger I used to do Irish Step Dancing and performed during Irish Night at Shea for many years and they were the only baseball team I knew.
Currently I'm still working towards my degree. School has been quite a challenge for me because I am a female, I know that may come as a surprise for some of you, therefore I constantly change my mind. From wanting to pursue a career in education to my current ambition of marine science, and a few detours along the way, it has unfortunately taken me quite some time to weed out all the options that weren't for me. I'm finally getting comfortable in what I hope to do, yet even still I am constantly changing my mind and taking outside courses to broaden my horizons.
Other than that I'm a very quirky individual and I've been called adorkable at times. I love to laugh and I enjoy making other people laugh. I have a bit of a random side as well. I thoroughly enjoy being challenged and I enjoy stepping outside of my comfort zone. I am not a fan of condiments. Ketchup is not my friend but mustard's ok. I'm scared of just about everything especially clowns and I'm petrified of the dark. However, I LOVE haunted houses and scary movies. Yes I know I'm weird. I love reading and can usually be found with a book in my possession. I have a tendency to be shy at first but after a little cracking I do come out of my shell.
My ideal man would be one that is not afraid to let his inner child shine through. I would love to find someone who knows how to be goofy and playful yet knows when and how to be serious. Someone who is outdoorsy and adventurous would be a nice fit for me. Obviously loyalty and honesty should go without saying but just in case I'll throw that out there. Someone who can make me feel safe would be perfect. Someone who is up for new challenges and can in turn challenge me. Someone who can accept me despite all of my flaws and can accept that I have baggage and it's ok if they have baggage too as long as it compliments mine. That would be described as my perfect man. I'm not here for a one night stand or some short term fling so if you are please don't waste your time or mine :)
There's SO MUCH more to who I am and if you want to know more about me I suggest you get in touch with me :-)
