If you're tired of guys on here putting up pictures of them holding up fish or standing with their pickup truck or motorcycle... you've had about one too many old men from Minnesota inviting you on their "yacht" before they've even met you, and you have nightmares about the next guy who says he is 6'1" when he is really 5'6"... then here's your chance for the real deal...
...and I hope ya have a sense of humor and don't take yourself too seriously, because I certainly don't...
But I digress...
So here's the scoop...
I grew up in the Midwest so definitely not the "typical" Vegas guy.
People frequently tell me they are surprised how comfortable they can be around me when we first meet, as if I've known them forever... not sure why that is exactly but I hear it frequently...
Anyway... If you can hold your own in a really interesting conversation, can dish out the humor and the smiles just as well as you can take 'em...
...then read on...
Here's me in a nutshell...
What makes me smile?
...Exploring new places- from ethnic restaurants to new countries (last year was Sweden and Denmark)... have family who live in Napa Valley so that's always a fun road trip...
...The deep expression of moving to the rhythm of the beat - I took ballroom dancing for a few years, haven't learned salsa or tango yet, though... are ya up for taking lessons?
...The joy of art- both creating it myself (I did all the art in my house) - and appreciating what others have created- have you been to the MOMA in NYC-one of my favorite places to hang on a crisp spring weekend...
...The sun filtering in the window, ideal for the perfect afternoon nap...
...The taste of my first sip of java on a cool, fall morning... yep, coffee is my big bad habit...
...The exhilaration of an intense workout, muscles burning, heart pounding...
...The tasty aroma of a home-cooked meal-I can actually cook - but it's so much more fun to share a meal for two than for one, don't ya think?
...The freedom of writing... I've written a few books and much of my business has been based on them, so it's a fun outlet for me...
...The fun and tension of playful banter- if you have an intelligent sarcastic sense of humor, we just may have some of the best conversations you can imagine...
...The stimulation of learning something new about something I knew nothing about before... is there something you can teach me? I love to learn...
...The pure release of being a kid, shifting from an intellectual to the silliest person in the room at a moment's notice...
If some of these same things put a smile on your face, too,
then you know what to do...
and I look forward to hearing from you...
